href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/15\/tv-fans-already-calling-shows-return-perfection-7-years-netflix-axe-22369364\/\">highly-anticipated TV reboot<\/a> have come flooding in, with fans raving over the \u2018spectacular\u2019 return for the gritty show that was axed on <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/netflix\/\">Netflix<\/a> seven years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Almost a decade ago in 2015, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/marvel\/\">Marvel<\/a> fans were introduced to <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/charlie-cox\/\">Charlie Cox<\/a>\u2019s portrayal of blind lawyer Matt Murdock, aka <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/daredevil\/\">Daredevil<\/a>, for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>The series about the crime-fighting vigilante was hailed one of the greatest superhero adaptations of all time, running for three seasons until 2018 before it was cancelled by the streaming giant, leaving viewers in despair.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, comic book aficionados haven\u2019t lost hope that it could return\u2026 and now finally, in 2025, it has been resurrected in the revival <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/daredevil\/\">Daredevil: Born Again<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/disney-plus\">Disney Plus<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While there\u2019s still over a week to go until its launch, some lucky people had the chance to watch the first two episodes in advance\u2026 and it\u2019s safe to say that initial responses have been off the charts.<\/p>\n<p>One big worry that fans had for the Born Again revival was whether it would match the original Netflix show\u2019s grittiness \u2013 considering the Marvel Cinematic Universe doesn\u2019t typically reach Fans of the original series are in for a treat, echoing the first season\u2019s intensity and rage,\u2019 @AJGaliardi wrote on X.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Saw the first two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again and it pulls no punches. Some bold choices are made in the first 10 minutes that I hope this story lands cause if not.. hoo boy.
