(Photo by Gilbert Flores\/Variety via Getty Images)\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Jay-Z&#8217;s rape lawsuit was recently dropped (Picture: Getty)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The unnamed woman who alleged that <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/jay-z\/\" data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\">Jay-Z<\/a> raped her has been heard stating that he never sexually assaulted her in a new audio recording.<\/p>\n<p>In a lawsuit filed last year, the rapper \u2013 real name Shawn Carter \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/12\/14\/jay-z-rape-accuser-acknowledges-bizarre-inconsistencies-story-22187905\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">was accused of drugging and raping a 13-year-old<\/a> girl at a <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/vmas\/\">VMAs<\/a> after-party in 2000, along with Sean \u2018<a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/sean-combs\/\">Diddy<\/a>\u2019 Combs.<\/p>\n<p>The 55-year-old fiercely denied all allegations and <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/01\/03\/jay-z-lawyer-officially-allowed-file-dismissal-rape-accusation-judge-rules-22287479\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the lawsuit was recently dropped<\/a>, with the star now taking legal action against his accuser\u2019s lawyer, Tony Buzbee.<\/p>\n<p>In new audio obtained by <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/woman-accused-jay-rape-heard-recording-lawyer-pushed\/story?id=119699387\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ABC News<\/a>, the woman, known only as Jane Doe, appeared to be heard during an interview with two private investigators, where she detailed her allegations.<\/p>\n<p>A male official clarified the alleged assault, questioning: \u2018But Jay-Z, you\u2019re saying he was definitely there? But he had no part in it? (Photo by ANGELA WEISS \/ AFP) (Photo by ANGELA WEISS\/AFP via Getty Images)\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Sean &#8216; Diddy&#8217; Combs has faced a number of sexual assault allegations (Picture: Getty)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When the investigators clarified that she was referring to Buzbee, she said, \u2018Yeah\u2019, adding that she did not know why.<\/p>\n<p>Buzbee hit back at her claims, branding it a \u2018blatant lie\u2019 that he spurred her to sue Carter.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018As far as the suggestion that I pushed Jane Doe to bring a case against Jay Z &#8211; That is a blatant lie that is directly contrary to all the documentary evidence,\u2019 he told the outlet in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The lawyer also shared his own audio footage with ABC News, in which he told his client: \u2018They say they have you on tape denying that Jay-Z assaulted you.
