href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/john-barrowman\/\">John Barrowman<\/a> has called his naked scandal on <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/doctor-who\/\">Doctor Who<\/a> ‘nothing outrageous’ and claimed everybody on set was ‘laughing.’<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, the actor, who starred as Captain Jack Harkness, was accused of <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2021\/11\/23\/john-barrowman-defends-his-silly-behaviour-on-the-set-of-torchwood-15648980\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">repeatedly exposing himself<\/a> on the set of the <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/bbc-2\/\">BBC<\/a> One sci-fi series\u00a0and its sister show <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2021\/05\/07\/torchwood-star-speaks-out-over-john-barrowmans-behaviour-on-set-14542226\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Torchwood.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, Barrowman, 58, has defended his <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2021\/07\/18\/john-barrowman-in-therapy-amid-torchwood-set-allegations-14946258\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">alleged behaviou<\/a>r in an interview with STV’s Scotland Tonight, insisting he has <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/09\/19\/john-barrowman-says-suicidal-flashing-scandal-21632934\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">‘no regets’ over his conduct <\/a>which had left him ‘blacklisted completely’ from the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n<p>He told presenter Rona Dougall: ‘I don\u2019t regret anything. It\u2019s not so much regret; it was something that was stupid and silly and it was done. I don\u2019t look back and go\u2026 because at the time, everybody was laughing. This is where it gets a little misconstrued. I didn\u2019t see it as outrageous. It was a different time.’<\/p>\n<p>Barrowman has previously played down his alleged misconduct; in his first TV interview after the allegations emerged, Barrowman insisted his ‘silly behaviour’ had been ‘exaggerated.’<\/p>\n<p>On Lorraine in 2021, he said: ‘I think that if it was now it would be crossing the line. I think that something that happened 15 years ago \u2013 it was bawdy behaviour, silly behaviour.<\/p>\n<p>‘It was being done in the confines of the set and we were like a family working together. The fact that it was stories that I\u2019ve already told, I\u2019ve been telling them for years.
