Lord Alan Sugar<\/a> was so fed up with a candidate on the current series of The Apprentice<\/a> that he decided to fire them before the episode had even ended, it\u2019s been reported.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been claimed that this was a show first, as typically the business magnate at least gives the entrepreneurs a chance to defend themselves in the boardroom before he makes his final decision<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the latest episode, which airs tonight, the two teams were tasked with creating new banking apps and money boxes geared towards children aged between six and nine.<\/p>\n

As per usual, the team that scored the most money in investments won\u2026 but while it\u2019s no surprise that one of the contestants was sent home<\/a>, this time around, Lord Sugar decided to act on his disappointment earlier than usual.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been claimed that before the project manager on the losing team brought in two people for the final boardroom showdown, the 77-year-old took matters into his own hands prematurely.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019ve heard enough,\u2019 he said, according to The Mirror,<\/a> when the room was still filled with all of the remaining candidates.<\/p>\n

He then stated: \u2018It seems like a completely disjointed organisation you were running there, completely disjointed.<\/p>\n

\u2018I don’t like wasting my time. I think the dynamics of the team is terrible at the moment, listening to everybody, I think that you missed an opportunity.\u2019<\/p>\n

Then, he dealt the final blow, pointing at the doomed participant and announcing: \u2018You\u2019re fired.\u2019<\/p>\n

Lord Sugar wasn\u2019t the only harsh critic in the episode, as the two teams also had to face brutally honest critiques from the target demographic for their products: children.<\/p>\n

One child reportedly told a team that their money box \u2018looks like popcorn\u2019, with another jibe calling the product \u2018kind of babyish\u2019.<\/p>\n

The early firing isn\u2019t the first dramatic incident to take place on this year\u2019s series of The Apprentice.<\/p>\n

One candidate, Dr Jana Denzel, dramatically quit the series<\/a>, having been accused of using racist language in an incident and reportedly been asked to take part in diversity training by producers.<\/p>\n

The dentist also said that his departure had been prompted by a \u2018really hurtful comment<\/a>\u2019 from Lord Sugar.<\/p>\n

It was later claimed that Dr Jana felt as though he was being \u2018set up to fail\u2019 on the programme.<\/p>\n

\u2018Jana felt that he was being tripped up in tasks designed to make him look bad,\u2019 an insider told The Sun<\/a>. \u2018He understands reality TV has to be about entertainment, but was unhappy about how unfair and staged it felt.<\/p>\n

staff, expecting some support, but felt that he was shrugged off and instead warned about being disruptive to the integrity of the show.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/06\/real-reason-apprentice-star-quit-revealed-racist-language-accusation-22677659\/\">TikTok video<\/a>, Dr Jana addressed the allegation that he had used racist language, stating: \u2018On one of the tasks, I was in charge of creating a character for a particular industry I don\u2019t often see people like me being represented in.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Another candidate informed him that he had used the \u2018wrong choice of words\u2019, while he added in the video: \u2018I apologised, changed what I said, and carried on.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><em>A representative for The Apprentice declined to comment when contacted by Metro.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Apprentice airs tonight at 9pm on BBC One and is available to
