watched by fans for free in the UK.<\/p>\n<p><a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/star-wars\/\">Star Wars<\/a> added to its ever-growing franchise in 2022 with the release of <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/andor\/\">Andor<\/a>, as <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2022\/09\/21\/what-happened-in-rogue-one-full-recap-as-andor-drops-on-disney-plus-17422130\/\">a prequel to Rogue One<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The show stars <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/diego-luna\/\">Diego Luna<\/a> as <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2022\/09\/21\/when-is-andor-set-in-the-star-wars-timeline-17424689\/\">Cassian Andor<\/a>, following his character’s journey to joining the Rebel Alliance.<\/p>\n<p>Following the release of the 12-episode series, <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2022\/09\/21\/andor-fans-review-the-best-star-wars-series-yet-17424055\/\">fans hailed it a ‘masterpiece’<\/a>, and have been left desperately awaiting the upcoming second installment.<\/p>\n<p>It scored a seriously impressive 96% <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/rotten-tomatoes\/\">Rotten Tomatoes<\/a> rating, with @sawyeurism writing on X: ‘I love Andor with my whole heart but I rarely feel like I have the right words to properly express how this show makes me feel. It’s an absolute masterpiece.’<\/p>\n<p>@SpectreRobin added: ‘Star Wars Andor is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in this universe. It’s smart, gripping and beautifully shot. I’m worried if I try to watch the other shows I’ll keep comparing them to this masterpiece. saying: \u2018The only thing I can say is that this show has shown me how patient I can be. We\u2019ve been working for a long time, and I can\u2019t talk too much about it, but I can tell you, the wait is worth [it].\u2019<\/p>\n<p>He then gave a five-word vow about the journey that awaits, stating: \u2018The amount of work behind the second season\u2026 and I think that the connection between the audience and the characters \u2013 it\u2019s going to pay out.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Diego pointed out that in life there are sometimes \u2018things you wait too long for\u2019 \u2013 and in the case of Andor, \u2018it\u2019s not going to feel like that\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The beauty of this second season is that you can go straight to watch Rogue One, and it\u2019s going to have a different meaning.
