Dave Grohl<\/a> and his wife Jordyn Blum put on a united display as they stepped out for lunch in a rare outing.<\/p>\n

Their day date comes as they ‘work’ on their marriage after Grohl confessed to fathering a secret lovechild.<\/p>\n

Late last year, the Foo Fighters icon<\/a>, 56, stunned fans<\/a> by revealing he was expecting a baby with another woman, despite being married to Blum, 48, for 21 years<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The woman’s identity was then revealed as 38-year-old Jennifer Young<\/a>, who said she gave birth on August 1 and put Grohl’s name on the baby’s birth certificate.<\/p>\n

Just weeks after news of Grohl’s infidelity became public knowledge, both he and his wife were spotted without wedding rings<\/a>, and a divorce attorney was hired.<\/p>\n

However, it was later reported that they were keen to give things another go<\/a>, as is illustrated by new photos of them together.<\/p>\n

Grohl and Blum wore smiles on their faces out in Los Angeles over the weekend.<\/p>\n

While they were not holding hands, they walked close to one another and seemed relaxed in the other’s company.<\/p>\n

The musician was dressed in a relaxed black sweatshirt and cargo shorts combo, to which he added black-and-white leather trainers.<\/p>\n

Grohl’s inkings were also on show with his sleeves rolled up, and he added a pair of horn-rimmed glasses and a baseball cap.<\/p>\n

Equally casual, Blum dressed in a black sweater, green Adidas joggers, and matching black trainers.<\/p>\n

The couple’s sighting comes after Young spoke to Page Six<\/a> about Grohl fathering her child out of wedlock.<\/p>\n

While she confirmed the basic details, Young did not share their daughter’s name ‘because there are some really angry fans’ out there, and she feels ‘protecting her identity is important’.<\/p>\n

It is known that Young lives in LA with the little one, but no further details about the nature of her relationship with Grohl, or how they met, have been published.<\/p>\n

Her occupation is also unknown, and Young does not have any active social media accounts.<\/p>\n

As Grohl and his wife now navigate the fallout of his scandal, it’s believed he is keen to repair his marriage.<\/p>\n

In November last year, a source told People<\/a>: \u2018He\u2019s no longer working with a divorce attorney and instead hoping to work things out with his wife.’<\/p>\n

A second insider added to the outlet: \u2018Dave\u2019s been prioritising his family. He knows he messed up.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s one of those situations where you don\u2019t realise what you have until you\u2019re about to lose it. He doesn\u2019t want to lose his family.\u2019<\/p>\n

Their quotes echo what Grohl said in his original statement announcing the pregnancy, as he wrote that he was \u2018doing everything [he] can to regain [his family’s] trust and earn their forgiveness.\u2019 <\/p>\n

As well as the little girl he and Young share, Grohl has three children with Blum: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10<\/a>.<\/p>\n
