Justin Theroux<\/a> has quietly remarried eight years after his divorce<\/a> from Jennifer Aniston<\/a>, leaving the Friends actress ‘blindsided’.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, the Beetlejuice 2<\/a> star, 53, secretly wed actress Nicole Brydon Bloom, 30, in a private beach ceremony in Tulum, Mexico.<\/p>\n

Theroux wore a traditional tuxedo, while Bloom looked every bit the classic bride in a long white gown. <\/p>\n

The pair, who have a 23-year age gap, first sparked romance rumours in February 2023.<\/p>\n

In March 2024, they made their red carpet debut at Vanity Fair’s annual Oscars party\u2014officially confirming the relationship\u2014and got engaged five months later in Italy.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was scaled back and intimate, but MailOnline<\/a> reports that Theroux’s beloved pit bull mix Kuma, whom he adopted from a high-kill shelter following Hurricane Harvey, was a part of the big day.<\/p>\n

After news of their nuptials became public, an insider revealed what Aniston’s reaction was to the occasion, telling the publication: ‘Yes, it took her by surprise, but they have maintained a close friendship, and she is happy for him that he has found true love.’<\/p>\n

While Aniston approves of her ex’s new lover, it’s believed to feel bittersweet for her to see him fully moved on.<\/p>\n

‘She cannot help but be somewhat reminiscent of what they had together, but she knows what a good man he is, and she thinks that his new wife is wonderful,’ they added.<\/p>\n

‘This gives Jennifer hope that her Prince Charming is out there.’<\/p>\n

A second source stressed that she is not dwelling on the news, saying: ‘Nobody should feel bad for Jen; she’s fine.<\/p>\n

‘She’s loved and lost like the rest of us, but her life is still pretty good.’<\/p>\n

They said ‘if she ends up with anyone down the line, that would be beautiful.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, the source claimed Aniston is now ‘on a different path’, just like her former partners are, including her first husband, Brad Pitt, to whom she was married from 2000 to 2005.<\/p>\n

She and Pitt have also remained friendly, with a mole insisting the actress only feels ‘joy’ for the successes of her exes.<\/p>\n

‘If anything is on her mind about Justin, it would be, let Justin be happy.’<\/p>\n

While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show<\/a> last year, Theroux revealed how he met his new wife: ‘A friend of ours was having sort of a party at their restaurant, bar,’ Theroux explained.<\/p>\n

‘The first impression was wow,’ he continued. ‘And then a friend of mine who was with me, literally the quote, [they] said, “That’s the one.” Like, we hadn’t even met yet. And I was like, “She’s so stunning.” So I went over and started talking and things like that and it progressed.’<\/p>\n

Bloom is a New York-based actress, with a degree in acting from Elon University as of 2017, who is perhaps best known for playing Caroline Stuyvesant in season two of The Gilded Age.<\/p>\n

Bloom also currently stars in the hit show Paradise <\/a>opposite Sterling K. Brown.<\/p>\n

This is Bloom’s first time at the altar, but Theroux was previously wed to Aniston from 2015 to 2017 in a marriage that was constantly in and out of international headlines.<\/p>\n

A joint statement at the time announcing their separation read: ‘We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘There’s something to, once you’re out of that, where I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we’re in,’ the actor told\u00a0Esquire<\/a>\u00a0in May 2023 of being in such a high-profile marriage.<\/p>\n

‘Having been in a public relationship, it’s much more fun not being in a public relationship,’ he concluded.<\/p>\n

Theroux and Aniston finalised their divorce<\/a>\u00a0in what he previously\u00a0described as a \u2018gentle separation\u2019<\/a>\u00a0in February 2018.<\/p>\n

Ever since they have made it clear that\u00a0they remain close pals<\/a> and on amicable terms.<\/p>\n

The comedy actress opened up for the first time about\u00a0her struggles to get pregnant and her issues with IVF<\/a>\u00a0in 2022, explaining that the \u2018ship has sailed\u2019 on starting a family, earning public support from Theroux.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram, she shared a selection of photos and a background video from a shoot<\/a> for an interview with Allure magazine in which she opened up about her struggles with IVF. <\/p>\n

In the comments below, Justin offered a subtle message of praise and support. <\/p>\n

\u2018\ud83d\udc4a \u2764\ufe0f,\u2019 he wrote, confirming that the ex-couple continues to support each other.<\/p>\n

Then, most recently, Theroux said that Aniston was ‘still very dear to [him]’ while speaking to The Times last September.<\/p>\n
