The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton<\/a> \u2018is still convinced\u2019 Conor Maynard <\/a>is the father of her baby.<\/p>\n

After announcing her pregnancy, in June last year Charlotte, 33, said the singer and social media star was the father of her unborn child.<\/p>\n

She then gave birth to daughter Penelope<\/a> in October and has spoken publicly several times about how he \u2018hadn\u2019t contacted her\u2019 and she was \u2018prepared to do this alone\u2019.  <\/p>\n

However last week he finally broke his silence<\/a>, issuing a statement claiming a DNA test proved he was not the little girl\u2019s father.<\/p>\n

Despite this Charlotte is reported to be questioning the accuracy of the results.<\/p>\n

\u2018Charlotte has always been adamant about who Penelope\u2019s father is and her daughter is the spitting image of Conor,\u2019 a source told The Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2018She is bitterly disappointed about the results and her legal team are looking into how they move forward to ensure Conor takes a second test.<\/p>\n

They continued: \u2018Conor has been desperate to distance himself since finding out Charlotte was pregnant. He refused to take her calls or answer messages and instead put everything into the hands of his lawyers. It\u2019s all been on his terms.’ <\/p>\n

The source also laimed Charlotte was \u2018blindsided\u2019 after Conor, also 32, released the statement but was also \u2018braced for a battle\u2019.<\/p>\n

She is now focused on making sure her daughter is \u2018protected\u2019 but her legal team is also now reportedly \u2018looking into how they move forward to ensure Conor takes a second test\u2019.<\/p>\n

Earlier today Charlotte posted on social media for the first time since Conor revealed his paternity test results.<\/p>\n

Charlotte, took to her Instagram<\/a> story with a picture of her daughter and the caption ‘those eyelashes’, blatantly ignoring the recent revelations that Conor is not the father of her baby.<\/p>\n

It is her first post<\/a> since International Women’s Day<\/a> on March 8, which was also a snap of her five-month old baby with the caption: ‘I made this little women – blows my mind continuously.’<\/p>\n

Conor also shared an update on social media today – revealing he’s purchased a house with his partner.<\/p>\n

‘On to a new chapter.. (the photo was taken on a grey, miserable day so I edited the sky.. I wanted to use the second slide but Kitty wouldn\u2019t let me),’ he captioned the post, sharing a photo with his girlfriend in the driveway of the property.<\/p>\n

After months of speculation over whether Conor was Penelope’s father, as Charlotte had continuously claimed, the singer put the rumours to rest in a post on March 14. <\/p>\n

‘I took a paternity test regarding Charlotte Chilton\u2019s baby girl, Penelope, in the presence of her legal representative,\u2019 he began in a statement on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u2018Today I\u2019ve received the test results which confirm I am not Penelope\u2019s father.<\/p>\n

‘I am glad that the speculation can finally be put to an end.<\/p>\n

‘All I would ask is that people act with kindness in response to this news \u2013 there is a child at the heart of all of this, and that should not be forgotten.<\/p>\n

‘I wish Charlotte and her family all the best.’<\/p>\n

Charlotte has not publicly responded to Conor’s statement.<\/p>\n

The TV personality originally kept the baby’s father a secret but ultimately decided she didn’t want it to be a ‘dirty secret’ and pointed the finger at Conor.<\/p>\n

After Penelope was born in October she told OK! Magazine<\/a> that he knows but she ‘hadn’t heard anything’. <\/a><\/p>\n

At the time she continued: ‘There\u2019s been days where I\u2019ve been in tears because I\u2019m sitting here thinking, \u201cI\u2019ve got a daughter that looks f*****g identical to you.”<\/p>\n

‘She\u2019s got his eyes, his hair, his facial expressions.’<\/p>\n

She had also said that Conor would not be raising the baby and she was prepared to ‘do this alone’.<\/p>\n

During her pregnancy Charlotte suffered from excruciating pain<\/a> and was even hospitalised at one point.<\/p>\n

She met Conor at a nightclub following the Traitors final in 2024 after being set up by co-star and mutual friend Harry who was dating Conor’s younger sister, Anna.<\/a><\/p>\n

In her post announcing Penelope’s birth she wrote: ‘Princess Penelope has arrived and we have been enjoying our \u201cPenelope bubble\u201d so much, I am going to be off the radar for a little longer, whilst I enjoy these magical moments with my precious girl!!<\/p>\n

‘Thank you to all that have checked in to make sure I am ok!! \ud83d\udc97 my heart is full xx’<\/p>\n
