But the kind that you experience when you just finished watching something so good, and as it ends, you might not find something as gripping and engaging to binge for a while,\u2019 they <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/television\/comments\/1jop1zn\/i_just_finished_watching_snowfall_and_it_might_be\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Snowfall | Season 1: Official Trailer | FX\" width=\"920\" height=\"518\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0yCoLNmhJWM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<div class=\"factbox\" data-ico=\"factbox_article\" data-track-module=\"factbox_article\">\n<h2 class=\"factbox-title\">\n\t\t\t\tWhat are some of the best crime dramas on streamers right now?\t\t\t<\/h2>\n<div class=\"factbox-content\">\n<p>If you&#8217;re a fan of crime dramas, there are plenty of offerings available to watch on streamers that you can binge right now.<\/p>\n<p>For starters, the <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/31\/bbc-release-gripping-australian-crime-drama-just-a-days-22823260\/\">second season of Black Snow<\/a>, an Australian crime drama starring Vikings actor Travis Fimmel, is coming to BBC Two and BBC iPlayer on Friday April 4.<\/p>\n<p>The series follows a detective called James Cormack who is tasked with investigating a cold case murder, and has been described as a &#8216;hugely compelling mystery&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/26\/netflix-viewers-dont-long-watch-gripping-british-crime-drama-22796245\/\">The Missing, an anthology series<\/a> that first started airing on BBC One in 2014, is leaving Netflix very soon.<\/p>\n<p>Starring James Nesbitt as a man who suffers the devastation of his son going missing, the show has a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.<\/p>\n<p>There are also plenty of police dramas on streaming platforms that you can watch at your leisure, some of which are regarded by viewers as <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/18\/7-police-dramas-better-line-duty-can-stream-free-22748980\/\">even better than Line of Duty<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They include Happy Valley on BBC iPlayer and Protection on ITVX, with the latter recently <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/17\/itv-viewers-floored-new-police-drama-hailed-new-line-duty-22737905\/\">receiving rave reviews from audiences<\/a> as the new series airs.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u2018The show has some of the best writing I\u2019ve seen in years, and while some episodes of prior seasons fall a little short, it\u2019s still really good, as it kept me wanting to see what happens next.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>In response, Interesting-Run-5497 agreed that Snowfall was a brilliant watch, saying that ti was \u2018probably one of their favourite crime dramas after Breaking Bad, Justified, Ozark, Narcos and Banshee\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Several people who have been singing Snowfall\u2019s praises on social media emphasised that not only is it a great watch throughout, but it \u2018wrapped up perfectly\u2019 by the final episode.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The ending is totally unexpected and brilliantly done. Snowfall matches, if not exceeds the very best of these, in terms of narrative power, acting quality, historical\/political perspective, empathy and passion,\u2019 they continued.<\/p>\n<p>Tara exclaimed that Snowfall was \u2018by the far the absolute best series I\u2019ve ever watched\u2019 and made them feel \u2018every emotion possible\u2019, while Greg added that it was \u2018one of the best shows to come out on television ever\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The show is a must watch!
