data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/itv\/\">ITV<\/a>’s The Assembly. <\/p>\n<p>The 54-year-old actor was questioned by an <a data-track=\"inline-tag-auto-link_article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/autism\/\">autistic<\/a>, neuro-divergent and learning disabled crowd on a range of topics<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/27\/david-tennant-issues-response-called-out-jk-rowling-22980882\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/04\/27\/david-tennant-issues-response-called-out-jk-rowling-22980882\/\"> from his response to JK Rowling calling him out<\/a> to a secret he has never told anyone. <\/p>\n<p>During the no-holds-barred interview one person asked the Doctor Who actor: ‘Someone you worked with, a friend, has been cancelled for some quite serious allegations. How has that affected you?’<\/p>\n<p>Tennant, who has worked with plenty of later-revealed controversial figures over the years including <a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2023\/07\/19\/noel-clarke-suing-the-guardian-for-10m-over-articles-alleging-sexual-misconduct-19153434\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2023\/07\/19\/noel-clarke-suing-the-guardian-for-10m-over-articles-alleging-sexual-misconduct-19153434\/\">Noel Clarke<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/13\/john-barrowman-regrets-nothing-naked-doctor-scandal-derailed-career-22719382\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/03\/13\/john-barrowman-regrets-nothing-naked-doctor-scandal-derailed-career-22719382\/\"> John Barrowman<\/a>, clarified: ‘Who are we talking about?’<\/p>\n<p>To which the questioner confirmed he was talking about the<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/good-omens-amazon-prime\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/tag\/good-omens-amazon-prime\/\"> Good Omens<\/a> creator, Gaiman, who has been hit with a string of sexual assault allegations which he has firmly denied.<\/p>\n<p>In the interviewer’s question, he claimed Good Omens had ‘been stopped’ and Tennant used his answer to clarify that the show would, in fact, be returning for a 90 minute finale episode rather than the originally planned season three.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"636\" height=\"358\" src=\"http:\/\/pilotshopworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/97745307-0-image-a-14_1745744678140.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22980893\" alt=\"David Tennant\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\t<\/div><figcaption>David Tennant rambled out a response when asked about how Neil Gaiman’s sexual assault allegations have affected him (Picture: ITV)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>‘We’re doing Good Omens again’ the Crowley actor, who co-leads theAmazon Prime show with Michael Sheen, replied.<\/p>\n<p>Then continued with some umming and ahhing: ‘We’re doing a finale. There’s been a slight rejig with the personnel [likely referring to Gaiman exiting as executive producer]. <\/p>\n<p>‘But we still get to tell that story which I… It would have been very difficult to leave it on a cliffhanger. Really proud of him. He did not appreciate that question,’ felisa_elisa shared. <\/p>\n<p>Many more argued that Tennant seemed to point blank skirt around the actual question.<\/p>\n<p>‘No offense but he did dodge the question here. Made no comment about Neil Gaiman or how his “cancellation” has affected him.
