Rosie O’Donnell has shared her personal heartache leaving the US after Donald Trump was elected President once more.
The legendary comedian, 62, claimed she fled the US for Ireland after Trump ‘had it out for her’, relocating with her 12-year-old child Clay.
Since moving, talk show host Rosie has opened up on the personal pain she has experienced uprooting her life.
Yesterday she shared a snap of her 25-year-old son Blake O’Donnell sitting in a car with his wife Teresa taking a selfie on her Instagram page.
In the caption, Rosie wrote: ‘My son Blake and his beautiful wife Teresa!!! I miss [you] so much ❤️🎈🙏🏾🇮🇪🥰💋😘.’
Teresa commented that they ‘miss her too,’ while many fans sympathised with the star being so far away from her children in America.

‘It’s so hard to be far away from your kids! Hope they’ll all visit soon! Gorgeous couple!’ Nsmith1944 wrote.
Rosemarieoneill added: ‘They look like they are such a fun couple!! So happy!!! I’m sure they will come see you soon!!!💙💕☘️🙏 Luh you RO!’

‘Thank goodness for facetime, Rosie. Hoping you won’t have to wait too long for in person HUGS!!! They will love Ireland!!!’ Catcloke9 commented.

As well as Blake and Clay, Rosie previously adopted children Parker, 29, Chelsea, 27, and Vivienne, 22.
The star shared the news she had relocated on TikTok, raving about the ‘loving, welcoming’ reception she had been met with in her new home.
Appearing on the Late Late Show, the star – who was one of many fleeing the United States – shed light on her decision to relocate, and how she has settled into her new way of life.
‘Settling in great, the people have been unbelievably kind, loving, supportive and so different than Americans when they recognize you,’ she told host Patrick Kielty.

‘It’s so polite, so sweet and it’s so non-invasive. It’s beautiful.’
When asked about why she moved, Rosie continued: ‘The President of the United States has it out for me and has for 20 years, when I told the truth about him on a program called The View – where it was my job to talk about pop culture, politics…
‘I mentioned his bankruptcies, I mentioned all of the sexual assault charges and I mentioned that he was not, in fact, the businessman that everyone thinks he is because of the show, The Apprentice, where they sold a bunch of lies to America for over 10 years, and half of America believed it.
‘He was very angry to say the least, and he hasn’t let it go. And he uses me as a punchline whenever he feels the need.’
She has said she feels ‘healthier’ since leaving the US, revealing she is ‘sleeping better without the stress and anxiety’ of worrying about the political climate.
